Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War" is a traveling exhibit organized by the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia and the American Library Association. Knox County is one of 25 libraries nationwide to host the exhibit funded by a National Endowment for the Humanities grant.
Along with the exhibit is a regional complementary display of artifacts and documents collected in Tennessee. These items relate to Lincoln and his vice president, East Tennessean Andrew Johnson. Together the exhibits examine Lincoln's legacy as they present a complex view of the president and his policies.
